They can be collected if required.  Please speak to Philippa Twinn at Holy Trinity or Fr Martyn if at All Saints’.

NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM

Join us at Walsingham this year for the National Pilgrimage on Bank Holiday Monday, 29 May.  It’s an early start but apart from getting to Holy Trinity (or All Saints’, if there’s sufficient interest) you’ll have no driving to do. Departure time is to be confirmed.  Adult fare is £20, 11s-17s can come for £12, under 10s for £6.  We need to know now whether to pay the deposit on the coach or not, so please sign up TODAY or NEXT SUNDAY.

The Rev’d Chris Brading, onetime member of our congregations and scheme manager of Hawley Almshouses will be inducted as Vicar of St Richard, Haywards Heath on Friday 12 May at 7.30pm.  Of course, you will want to pray for him and his family; but if you’d like to join the celebration that evening, please sign up using the booking sheet in the church porches.  If there’s enough support, we’ll run a coach.  A bun fight is included.
NOTE: WE NEED 25 PEOPLE AT LEAST TO MAKE THE COACH ECONOMIC.  IF WE DON’T REACH THAT TOTAL TODAY, OTHER ARANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE.  PLEASE SIGN UP NOW!

FR MARTYN’S LENT APPEAL

We sometimes forget just how recently this country was blessed with proper sanitation and most of us don’t realise the majority of people across the world still have no toilet facilities available at home, at school or even at the workplace.  Fr Martyn hopes that the parish raise enough money to twin our hall toilets at All Saints’ and the men’s toilet at Trinity Hall (the ladies’ already having been twinned by the Wednesday evening W.I.) with new toilets in the third world.  You can support this appeal at the Friday Lent Lunch or directly through the special donation boxes.  Gift Aid forms are available for the use of UK taxpayers.
